Dear UTAGE friends and family,
After UTAEG left the Independence Mall in August 2008, OKA family has now begun a new journey of providing our traditional Japanese cuisine to old and new UTAGE friends.

The new style of service is called "Omakase", which roughly translates to mean a multi-course Japanese meal of the chef’s selection with dishes ranging from lightest fare, to the richest dishes. These special group dinners are now taking place at our new location, the Hockessin Athletic Club www.hachealthclub.com.
The Hockessin Athletic Club, also known as HAC, is Delaware's
finest health club and provides a complete health and fitness solution for active families, adults, and seniors, and they
now have private event space. We have been very fortunate in getting support from HAC's owners and managers, allowing
us to offer these unique private "After Hour" dining events for all old and new UTAGE customers.
Thank you for your continued interest, we look forward to seeing you at HAC very soon**!

Utage Japanese Restaurant
Utage introduced sushi—a near seismic event—to Delaware when it opened in 1986, so we’ve praised the restaurant for that and other authentic Japanese cuisine ever since. The sushi rolls are first-class presentations. The Aurora roll is an eye-catching combo of salmon, shrimp, steamed asparagus, seaweed, dry tuna flakes, and marinated daikon. Utage gets points for its family friendly service—many a youngster was introduced to Japanese food here—and we’re betting the little monkeys went ape over Utage’s banana tempura. Utage, which me ans, “banquet of celebration,” is perfectly named. The Oka family has always insisted upon great service. There are flashier imitators, certainly, but Utage is the model. Utage Japanese Restaurant
The Oka family has delivered authentic Japanese cuisine to the area for more than 20 years, as well as chef-owner Chihiro Oka’s fresh ideas for sushi rolls and presentations. The Aurora roll is an eye-catching combination of salmon, shrimp, steamed asparagus, seaweed, dry tuna flakes, and marinated daikon.
